The MSBL National and ammended rules for the Northern Colorado MSBL can be downloaded here.
These rules are currently under review by Managers and will be updated soon. The significant changes are as follows.
Section 2.b - Will be reinstated and changed to 15 run discrepancy at the end of 7 innings.
Section 5 Courtesy Runners - 2 players per game will be allowed to have Courtesy Runners. These players must be designated prior to the game at the exchange of lineups by the manager (as stated in the current rule). The designated runner is not chosen ahead of time. The player that committed the last batted out will be the new runner. Please keep to the 30 second rule as stated. Additionally, the catcher will be allowed to have a courtesy runner at his discretion to aid in speeding game play (so the game is not waiting on the catcher to "gear-up" in the following inning.
4.c Player Ejections - If a player is ejected from a game at the discretion of the umpire, that player will receive an automatic one (1) game suspension. If the same player is ejected a second time in the season, the suspension will be for the remainder of the season. Make your players aware of this rule!
